Vince Guaraldi was the brilliant composer and pianist behind the Peanuts cartoons.
It was quite controversial to use modern jazz in a kid's cartoon, networks hated it, but introduced many kids to jazz.
He was only 46 when he died in 1976, but left such a legacy!

RIP Glen Hansard. I grew up in the Strawberry Beds, just a short distance from where the accident happened, and the news hit close to home. Over the years, I witnessed far too many serious motorcycle accidents on that road, and those memories have stayed with me ever since.
Glen and I were the same age, which makes it feel even more poignant.
My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him.
