It is with mixed emotions that I will be stepping down from my role of Chief of Staff at @Sagebio next Friday, marking exactly 11 years with the amazing organization. A difficult decision for certain, but one I know will ultimately be good for both me and the org.
This custom wall decal I had made for my first office at @Sagebio reflected my feelings about joining the org in its early days. Many gray hairs later, I am proud to be leaving an org that knows much better "what it is" and all that we have collectively accomplished.

Wow this is a huge deal. The essentially casual purchase of huge tranches of personal data from private companies that the state would not otherwise have warrantless access to is a huge hole in our civil liberties. Next, stop these companies from collecting it in the first place!
