Two SUVs beside each other in Cavan over the weekend. One driver is Irish and forced to pay VRT, car insurance, car tax and must have their car NCT approved otherwise they’ll be fined or the car seized, same for car tax.

The other is a Ukrainian reg’d car who gets waved through all checkpoints and doesn’t even have to pay car park fees.

No wonder Irish people are fed up with these double standards 🤬

We remain deeply concerned at the two apparent Linkedin profiles for the business name registrant Dave Lahart and are having difficulties verifying the Linkedin profile with catering experience (which only started in 2022, and no disrespect to Dave and his photo, but where is the rest of that career history)

And if it is the same Dave Lahart of OCS why does that profile (without a pic) say he continues to work at the company which provides services like security to Irish Rail.

It looks shady.

Remember, this is a €500,000 service (180 days at €2-3,000 a dayt).

At Irish Rail, the buck stops with its new CEO Mary Considine.

Without a publicly disclosed tender, they’ve awarded the pilot trolley service to a business name https://t.co/vvR3vurPSc registered three months ago, to a man who previously appears** to have had a senior role providing train security services to Irish Rail. What track record (if any) has this catering business name? Who knows.

The new trolley service won’t accept cash because of “security risks”. If security is that poor on Irish Rail, why would anyone travel on their services? Will Irish Rail now be broadcasting warnings to stop people using phones or laptops in case they’re robbed?

The trolley service will coin in around €2-3,000 a day in turnover as monopoly supplier to a captive market, and is being presented as “a pilot”, which makes us look like an international laughing stock.

This looks like a deal lacking basic transparency involving a supplier with limited background information, and which penalises the most economically fragile in our society.

Maybe Mary should consider her position.

- I used to smell the bakeries throughout the town in the morning, now I get the lingering smell of kebab shops from the night before.

- The coffee shop was staffed by friendly Irish women, now I avoid it because I don't want a coffee from a 50-year-old man from Mumbai who insists on putting his hands on the mouth of the cup.

- Dunnes Stores used to be a lovely place to shop, because the staff were all local. But they're all gone now and it's staffed by strangers from the other side of the world who don't understand the meaning of the word "blaa."

- I used to know my local taxi-driver, but now all the taxis are driven by Nigerian Black-Axe Gang members and former members of the Taliban.

- Kids used to walk to school alone, but now they have to be dropped to the door of the school just in case a random man from Africa happens to be walking by and tries to kill them because he's upset about his dole being suspended.

- Children used to be allowed to eat sausages in creche and school, the Irish love pork. But not anymore, because that upsets the Muslims.

- When we thought about the future and where we might live, we didn't have to worry about competing against people from China or India. Why would we, we lived in Ireland.

- Our national holidays and holy days like Easter and Christmas used to be observed by the entire country, a moment of peace and tranquility. But now the Turkish barbers and vape shops remain open, they won't even give us one day.

- Remember when parks were safe?

- I never heard the word "White" used to describe Irish people, because we are all White, we didn't discuss race. Now I'm called a racist every few weeks in the Sunday papers and an elected TD called me a "White supremacist" in the Dáil.

- I remember a time when a Nigerian or Somalian calling themselves 'Irish' would have drawn ridicule on national TV, but now it's the status quo.

- I'm a native Irishman and I still live on an island called Ireland. But this place isn't Ireland anymore, and when I look at the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia, I see the exact same thing happening.

It has now been over 6 months since Irish-man Frank Daly was killed in Dublin and there has been no update from gardaí. No arrest, no charges and Frank's family are left in the dark.

I refuse to accept this, because we all know what's going on here.

An African woman who shouldn't have been in Ireland, nevermind driving a bus, killed an Irishman and the state is terrified it will hand a win to those who want Ireland to remain Irish. So they drag it out for as long as possible in the hope that public anger will die down.

Unfortunately, they are right, nobody talks about Frank anymore.

How many people outside Ireland are aware that an African woman drove a bus into a load of pedestrians in Dublin 6 months ago and killed an Irishman?

I would guess very few.

There has even been suggestions the African woman has fled the country and returned to her homeland.

Initial reports suggested the driver had a medical episode resulting in loss of control, however that was ruled out very quickly.

Standards are collapsing across Ireland in a bid to accommodate those who are not qualified or capable, simply because they have different colour skin. What are we doing folks, this is madness!

Frank Daly deserves justice, his family deserve justice, and they need a voice.

Do not forget about Frank.
