On behalf of @kmpdu I bear the heavy duty of announcing the death of Dr.Mike Monari.
He had just completed his Internship at Meru Level 5 hospital and was headed home in Nakuru after clearing with the Medical Council in Nairobi when he met his untimely ending through a RTA.
Mike as he was fondly referred to by his peers was a brilliant doctor,so friendly, always happy and making everyone around him laugh.
He was such a kind soul, full of life.
During this painful moment our hearts go out to his family and all those who loved him.May they be consoled by the promised resurrection morning when we shall meet our loved ones again.
Rest In Peace Champ!!

We officially condemn a serious breach of patient privacy involving a public figure at a pharmacy outlet.
We must emphasize that pharmacies are confidential healthcare environments. Recording patients without consent violates our fundamental ethical & professional obligations.
There’s a growing concern that some rogue private facilities are deliberately taking advantage of young doctors. They rush to “hire” pre-interns and post-intern MOs, put them to work without any formal contract, and exploit their skills for months on end. By the time the young doctor realizes what’s happening, they’ve already served for nearly four months without pay. Frustrated and discouraged, they resign—only for the facility to bring in another unsuspecting doctor and repeat the cycle.
In the end, these facilities enjoy almost a full year of free labour, while hardworking young doctors bear the emotional and financial burden. We must protect our young doctors from this predatory cycle @kmpdu

I told my toddler that I’m not feeling well.
She then told me how Jesus healed a blind man and even laid hands on a crippled man that was instantly healed so I should give her a minute to talk to Jesus to lay hands on me too.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The dignity of the patient supersedes the interest of the health centre and health workers. CS @HonAdenDuale calls on Kenyans to report healthcare malpractice through our toll free line 147
It’s so scary being a woman living alone in this country with the current govt in power💔 My heart goes out to all those who’ve lost family, friends & neighbors today💔 Those injured, those abducted, those raped💔 We were never meant to go to bed with such heavy hearts everyday🤧
These police who kill civilians also need to get the death sentence. We cannot normalize burying people week in week out. Hii mambo ya justice for ang’owa is enough. If you can’t protect protestors without killing then leave the force. Choke!

All intern doctors (medical officers, dentists, and pharmacists) over 1800 of them, will be compensated according to the CBA, with an average earning of 206K.
Other interns will be remunerated based on their respective schemes of services.
Our primary objective has been to uphold the integrity of the CBAs, ensure the dignity of intern doctors, and foster a motivated healthcare workforce for the benefit of patients.
Previous Cabinet Secretaries engaged in unhelpful tactics with us hence endless demonstrations and strikes. However, Hon @HonAdenDuale has delivered for both Kenyans and healthcare workers. We should always commend GOOD WORK and GOOD LEADERSHIP.
I meet patients who have undergone 5-6 surgeries and my heart bleeds for them. Prayers out to people and families who are dealing with the burden of disease. Stay strong.
