BREAKING: Houthi forces have now taken control of the entire Red Sea coast in Yemen, effectively giving them control of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The Bab el-Mandeb Strait saw over 9 million barrels of daily crude oil flows at its peak prior to the Iran War.
This reflect ~9% of global demand which is now at risk of being shut down.
Brent crude oil prices extend gains toward $110/barrel.

Higher ups don't want him winning
Not only did the clock not stop at the right time on the first down, but they also tried to run 3 sec off and then gave it a 2 sec run off when in fact the ball was spiked immediately upon chains being set with no runoff. The first Hail Mary should have started at 12-13 seconds. It was a legit win. Folks need to stop picking and choosing ways to whine about it. Move on.
Thanks to everyone who joined us at @CMEGroup yesterday! And a big thank you to Woody Wiegmann, Brian Stutland, Adam Quiring, and Dr. Mark Shore for a great discussion. Looking forward to the next one!
Just sat down with @CNBC Power Lunch to talk $PANW heading into earnings.
Cyber remains a secular winner as AI accelerates attack surfaces, but earnings gaps can still punish holders. That’s why I focused on protecting the downside rather than selling the name.
Options let you keep the upside while defining risk into the print.

🚨COMING SOON: NUCLEAR-POWERED CARGO SHIPS 🚨
@USDOT is working to fast-track construction of a new fleet of vessels to change the game and DOMINATE China
THAT MEANS:
📦 MORE CARGO (no internal fuel tanks)
🚢 FASTER SHIPS (up to 75% faster crossings)
🌐 ZERO EMISSIONS (20 years of continuous power without refueling)
The first NUCLEAR-POWERED vessel is set to be built in 2028 🇺🇸
Absolutely insane.
Nvidia, $NVDA, just guided $108 BILLION in revenue for Q3 alone.
And, this guidance assumes ZERO data center compute revenue from China.
This builds on the record $96.2 billion in revenue posted for last quarter for a projected total of $204.2 billion in 6 months.
We now have a $5+ trillion company is seeing +106% year-over-year revenue growth.
There has never been anything like what we are seeing right now with AI.
This is arguably the biggest technological revolution of all time.
Big thanks to Samantha Vadas and the Schwab Network—this was a lot of fun!
Here’s an example trade illustrating one way to play Cisco (CSCO) following its earnings report.

How mathematically impossible is the energy math behind the data center rollout? Just Texas alone is facing 474GW of interconnection requests (ERCOT), of which 90% is data centers. Which is why gov Abbott froze rollout of new data centers in Texas.
For context, ERCOT all-time peak demand record is 91.1GW on July 22, 2026, with normal demand between 40 and 80GW.
Of course, that's peak. In a more realistic scenario, Morgan Stanley sees the entire US short about 80-100GW through 2030, or a deficit of about 100 nuclear power plants.
The relationship between stocks and bonds has completely flipped:
The 90-day correlation between the 10Y Treasury Yield and the S&P 500 is down to -0.48, its most negative reading since 1999.
This means that rising Treasury yields have recently been associated with weaker stock market performance, while falling yields have supported equities.
The current reading is even more negative than the 2022 bear market low of -0.42.
For context, before the 2020 pandemic, the correlation was positive for over a decade, with Treasury yields and equities often rising together as higher yields reflected stronger economic growth.
Currently, the negative correlation suggests investors are viewing higher yields less as a sign of economic strength and more as a result of inflation uncertainty and fiscal concerns.
All eyes are on the bond market.
I don't understand how this does not violate insider-trading laws. Trump is disclosing information (in this case, information about some of his future public statements as president, including statements about policy) that belongs to the US government in exchange for money. That violates his duty of trust and confidence to his employer (the govt), and is illegal.
And anyone who pays for the feed is knowingly paying for misappropriated information, which is illegal as well.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Cubs Rooftop event last week!
