Apologies for the absence of posts towards the end of term. Here are a few missed photos of life at TBES during our last few weeks!
We hope you are all having a lovely summer holiday.
Pear Class have been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have used different types of pasta to understand the different phases in a multi-sensory way! #learning#sensory
Hazel Class enjoyed our new sensory story this afternoon 'The Very Lazy Ladybird'. We jumped like Kangaroos, swung like monkeys and scratched like bears!
Last week Apple Class made under the sea pictures in their art session. The children made the sea by sponge painting different shades of blue. They then painted their fish, choosing from a range of colours. The results are beautiful.
Last week Rowan Class went on a hunt for minibeasts. The hunt involved the children walking through the school meadow looking for insects in their natural habitat. They used their iPad’s to record all the minibeasts they found!
Pear Class have been enjoying lots of role play this week! We have set up our own vets and have been checking the animal's heartbeats and looking at their x-rays.
Last Tuesday, students from Rowen class, went to Sprowston Cricket Club, for a Rounders Competition.
This was the first time many of the children had experienced rounders. The children had a great time learning new skills and meeting peers from other schools.
Well done everyone!
Apple Class have been learning about the life cycle of a frog. We enjoyed listening to songs explaining how a frog grows. We then explored the frog life cycle models in a sensory tray, played with frogs on lily pads and explored edible, sensory frogspawn. Lots of froggy fun!
Apple Class have enjoyed lots of red, white and blue themed activities this week to celebrate the King’s Coronation. We have made sparkly crowns, created a class collage, made our own flags and decorated our own bunting for the school’s tea party.
