I had the pleasure of meeting with Graham Gass, Senior Social Development Adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), @PACE_Nigeria to discuss strengthening social protection in Kaduna. Our conversation focused on building systems that guarantee 1/3

We discussed the transformative impact of the ROOSC Project and the historic milestone it represents as KFAED’s first intervention in Nigeria. This initiative will help eliminate barriers to education and reintegrate out-of-school children, advancing our commitment to SDG 4. 2/2

Together with PACE @PACE_Nigeria my office is leading Kaduna State’s work to design a Social Protection M&E Framework; focused on driving accountability and impact.

This step reflects the commitment of Gov @ubasanius to building a robust, responsive & inclusive social protection system that truly works for the most vulnerable.
Honoured to convene this milestone Technical Session, Kaduna State Government with support from PACE is holding a 3-Day Social Protection Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Framework Technical Session in Kano.
This technical session will develop a harmonized Social Protection M&E 1/2
visionary leadership, the report will guide Kaduna in designing more inclusive, efficient and impactful interventions that truly reach the poor and vulnerable. 2/2
At the Kaduna Social Protection Stakeholders’ Orientation support from @UNICEF_Nigeria the Social Protection Mapping Report was presented; a key step in identifying existing programmes, gaps and opportunities for stronger coordination.

At the Kaduna Social Protection Orientation, I highlighted the need for collaboration across MDAs, partners & communities.
Under Gov. @ubasanius, social protection is a necessity; building equity, peace & security for all.
From Financial inclusion, grants for women & youth entrepreneurs to support for farmers and micro-businesses, Governor Sani’s social protection drive is reducing hardship and strengthening communities. “Addressing poverty is not charity but justice,” Dr. Balarabe said.
