the $IMD contract for onchain oracle requests is here and we're already integrating it into briefs

this is what lets our contracts request a verdict and receive the answer directly from IMD, with no backend relaying the result

there are two ways to earn $IMD on briefs, depending on whether you'd rather start the argument or win it

as a creator, you set the challenge, judging rule and entry fee, then fund the starting pot. each paid entry earns you a creator fee and grows the prize - so give people something worth arguing about

as a player, you pay the entry fee and submit your brief to challenge the current leader. taking the lead isn't enough: stay on top until the case is settled and you take 100% of the final pot
