Often times I catch my students on AI usage and file it as “plagiarism by cheating” because AI, incapable of original thought, gave anyone with a similar input the same output. Often times the suspicion is there long before we use any AI detection software.
I don’t think yall realize how obvious a lot of AI usage is. Phantom sources, incomplete citations, a noticeable shift in writing pattern, cadence, and flow. Other submissions that have a remarkable similarity to yours despite swearing you worked alone….and that’s not all…
As a student, I would be happy to have a conversation “proving” I didn’t cheat as soon as my instructor first demonstrated the methodology used to determine cheating/plagiarism and how they scrutinized the technology, validated its methods and outputs, and made it prove itself.
Hello yt lady. So as a student, having to set up a time to go see my professor during their office hrs, while juggling my other classes, assignments, org responsibilities, job shifts & social life is an additional responsibility after I already completed the assignment.
@eiszett Have you read all the sources you ever cited? During my PhD we, along with dozens of other papers, cited a paper that I later found did not contain the result for which it was commonly cited. I should be banned I guess.

I say this all the time. My mom never did kids programming or music. One time i got in trouble because i was scribbling Johnny Gill lyrics in my workbook. lol
Hard agree. I'm so glad my mom had me listening to Anita Baker and Luther Vandross as a kid.
I refuse to listen to "kids" music in the car. You are going to get this Phil Colins and Tyler the Creator.
Some folks who think Janine & Gregory arguing over travel plans is unrealistic/random just haven’t hit that milestone in a long-term relationship. It’s just not always smooth sailing & a happy-ever-after. Planning a trip has always been a way to tell if a relationship can last.
