Here's my late but still information-packed post Friday-ish "Building in Public" blog for the Documentation Engineer, where I walk you through a project that I built for a job that I didn't end up getting....

This week in AI documentation: same buyer, same governance maturity, two completely different grades. See where Salesforce and HubSpot land, and what it costs to keep your limitations buried instead of built in.

I have been in tech since 2012โฆ what started as a job for survival eventually opened so many doors for me to grow and find a specialty that really felt like home. I have always had a passion for writing and teaching; I just never imagined that there was a way to do that in tech.
I do know that I will continue to educate, spread awareness, and be completely transparent as I carve out this new, unknown layer of my life. They say home is where the heart isโฆ well, I pour my heart into the work that I am doing and the community that I am building around it.
AWS Educate. Hundreds of courses. Hands-on labs. Self-paced so you go at your speed. You finish, you get a shareable digital badge. If you're 18+ you also get access to an exclusive job board. Open to anyone globally. 13 and up. No AWS account needed. Free.
This last year has been about trusting the process and believing in myself, and for someone who has lived in survival mode most of her life, this has honestly been one of the scariest stretches yet.
@LukeCFPLevelUp Yeah, I think that's the hardest part. Now, after successfully building a tech startup, investing in myself as the business, and doing content creation full-time, it is a different feeling. It kind of feels unreal. It's a new territory to now be the product.
The US government suspended Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 overnight. Most AI companies go quiet when that happens. Anthropic didn't. Here's the grade, and why it matters before August 2.

Youโre supposed to use every unfair advantage you have. Connections, looks; money, all of it.
You're not noble by picking the hardest path just to look like an underdog.
If content creation ends up being more lucrative, who knows, maybe this becomes the thing instead of working for someone else.
So if you've lived in survival mode and you're now learning to trust the process while betting on yourself, come along for this ride.
