Wemby just said on ABC that you can’t win a 7-game series vs the defending champs by random chance. WRONG. Spurs won because of the random injuries suffered by Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell, OKC’s 2nd and 3rd best players.
I always encourage people to look at the picks the Thunder didn’t get. Houston 2021. Philly 2025. Utah ducked their multi-year obligation entirely. The lottery has by and large been unkind to the Thunder through protected picks. If they’d had San Antonio’s luck… yeesh.
@happyjoelucky The spurs tank vs thunder tank is truly a disgusting difference, okc got 1 top 5 pick and San Antonio gets gifted wrapped 3 of them back to back to back 🤮 not to mention okc tanked for 2 seasons while San Antonio is the face of tanking for 8 years. SA was built by the league
Nothing he does impresses me. You 7’5 and the tallest player on the court catching lobs and dunking on 6’5 guards then flexing like it’s some crazy accomplishment. Smh do better
@the2kmessiah Yes scott foster is the reason shai scored 15 pts in the 4th and mathurin missed 6 free throws in the last 3 minutes. Keep smoking dat copium
@wembald Whatever lie you spurs fans must tell yourself to feel better about beating an injured team. Congrats. Now imagine if fox and Harper both missed the entire series. Hope this helps!
@WembysCastle Jdub played a healthy game 1, got injured by castle and resulted in him playing 7 minutes in game 2. Ajay played 1 game. Yall would’ve lost if okc was healthy, it’s ok to admit you guys got lucky okc was injured https://t.co/noK6PrjAr3
