@Eigwcistcisc@Sean_LUHG@RTEgaa Exactly. And yes there was witnesses. It literally says in her statement that there was no "independent witnesses", Westport LGFA were not informed of the hearing, that's crazy. An awful way of dealing with a very serious accusation.
@gillys043@Jklunden I don't see too many of her teammates sharing the statement, think that speaks volumes. Just because the officials didn't witness it or camera didn't catch it doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen.
@GaelicStatsApp@CahairOKane1@Shane_Mangan I don't understand how you think it's not worth trying, you can't say it's down to the numbers. Worst case scenario Down were getting ET the way they played that play.
Worst case scenario if they shoot earlier was they miss and wexford have possession and kick a score
@GaelicStatsApp@CahairOKane1@Shane_Mangan Galway/armagh 2022. Galway keep possession and continuously recycle until they work it to a shooter and he kicks the winner.
2019 all ireland final replay Dean Rock winner after dubs retained possession for a sustained period.
@Podge_Bolger@SmallerFishGAA Yeah you are right in fairness. Poor enough to watch for them 3 minutes but that's down to the introduction of the hooter.
@GaelicStatsApp@CahairOKane1@Shane_Mangan Oh yes I get you now, but they actually worked it seamlessly. most intercounty footballers kick a score from that position I'd imagine. Execution of the kick was poor.
I can't see why you would give up possession there.
@Podge_Bolger@SmallerFishGAA We will agree to disagree on it, I feel that the way the game was playing out should have zero to do with it at that stage. They had obviously spoken about that as every team in the country will have, wexford weren't able to press out and force a turn over. Down worked it well
