Ya dial the zoom in to out or out to in while taking the exposure. Try a correct exposure with 1-3 sec shutter speed.
The first is the lit sign at the gate fo the Tulsa Botanical gardens. The 2nd is a man like form on a bench and the 3rd is the obligatory Christmas tree
