One of the first steps in my new career as a freelance writer/SM manager, is the launch of this book I've contributed to! Physical and ebooks available this Saturday the 21st! A collaboration of 21 writers. Extreme parenting humour! #1in5parents https://t.co/mNwz8PocHE
@HelloFreshUK Hi! Just had this week’s box delivered, but still have a couple of meals to use from last week. Is your meat freezable? I’ll put some from this week in the freezer if so. Thanks!
@AskNationwide Hi! I’ve received a cheque in my maiden name. If I bring my marriage certificate to my local branch, can I still pay the cheque in? Thanks.
Not sure I've ever heard a funnier story than my friend who got a wooden spoon stuck in her mouth as a kid and had to get bus to A&E for its removal, so her mum draped a tea towel across the handle so people 'wouldn't stare'
@notjustamummy2@GoddardLinsy1 @baggylondon @UsforThemUK@BorisJohnson@GavinWilliamson to cope. What you’re basically saying is that she should be scorned from her therapists office and told ‘jeez, who can’t cope with being a mother?’ I just wish people who spout about kindness actually thought before they opened their mouths.
@notjustamummy2@GoddardLinsy1 @baggylondon @UsforThemUK@BorisJohnson@GavinWilliamson It was a friend of mine and not me, and she’s written to the local MP asking for help and heard nothing. It was the ‘who seriously can’t cope with their own kids’ that got me. My cousin has just a baby and been referred to urgent mental health services because she’s struggling
@notjustamummy2@GoddardLinsy1 @baggylondon @UsforThemUK@BorisJohnson@GavinWilliamson Your response is unkind and condescending. In the holidays I work less, but don’t have that option. I presume in the holidays people use holiday clubs and family help, but that’s not available as you know.
@notjustamummy2@GoddardLinsy1 @baggylondon @UsforThemUK@BorisJohnson@GavinWilliamson I ‘can cope’ with my children being at home. I love having them home. I ‘can’t cope’ with two different lots of schoolwork for children that can’t complete it alone and one with complex mental health requirements, and my husband working out of the house, being denied furlough
@notjustamummy2@GoddardLinsy1 @baggylondon @UsforThemUK@BorisJohnson@GavinWilliamson They don’t, I know many who’ve tried. I know a mum so desperate she turned up at school daily, begging them to help-she was always just asked to leave. School sent an email apologising if you can’t cope, but saying they won’t be doing anything about it 🤷🏻♀️.
@UsforThemUK In serious need of help here. My son is in what I believe is a mental health crisis. GP believes it’s serious but says we are unlikely to get any help at the moment. School ignoring my emails. The ONLY thing helping him before Christmas was being in school. Where can I get help??
@Draoeu @NewMumOnline@UsforThemUK@janekin24@RFeltham5@Vicster82 Thank you, we are so worried about him. He thinks there’s covid in his food and on his toothbrush, as well as other food related OCD behaviours. I’m sorry your son is having similar concerns-horror show is spot on. This has all started since being constantly in/out of school.
@NewMumOnline@UsforThemUK@janekin24 @Draoeu @RFeltham5@Vicster82 We now need dermatology input for my son, where constant hand washing/sanitiser has his skin peeling. Also waiting for urgent MH referral due to rapid onset of OCD behaviours relating to him being reduced to nothing short an infection vector. Children being treated appallingly.
