@K_Clark98 @LSRCardCompany@theyanksonly@ragazzoreport Cubs sell high to win now means no more prospects when everyone retires. PCA. Cade and Matt are the new guys. They would rather stay competitive for 5years than try for a chip for 2 years and be mediocre for 3. Keep him or not, but Nico will leave where a QO is banished in 2027
@LSRCardCompany @K_Clark98 @theyanksonly@ragazzoreport Jazz as a star in the likes of Judge or Ohtani? No, I should have used 2x All Star, but point still stands, he isn't a fringe player
@LSRCardCompany@theyanksonly@ragazzoreport Yanks have prospects and clearly Cubs want to compete while staying under luxury tax. A trade for Jazz plus prospects or some coveted pitching prospects could work.
Plus, the Cubs and Yankees traded multiple times without bad faith. I think they would do it again.
@j4m35p4lmtr33@RyanGarciaESM Might be a straight trade of Nico for Jazz + mid level prospects.
The Cubs GM also has to make fans want to come to Wrigley, Jazz helps.
Cubs need SP. Luis Gil/ ERC, plus Lagrange and Jones
