@Bro_Scientist@Meta Ads that hide the product aren't clever, they're scared. If you can't say what you built in one sentence, you don't understand it yourself. Cute mascots don't save weak positioning. Say the hard thing, own the product, let people decide. Clarity always beats charm.
@Meta’s Muse ads blend in so hard with a fuckin Nike ad or any other D-lister AI productivity app, without actually telling you what the fuck the little haiku 4.5 cutesy mascot is or what the product is, that it’s going to fall by the wayside.
Especially on the backdrop of the series of failures Meta has dropped for the last 10 years.
There are too many look-alikes, with some that even seem to outperform it — even GitHub itself is packed full of repos of essentially this exact same thing except you can have it speak to you like Jarvis. From 5 monitors.
Then you tack on the massive amount of data meta already collects from you, and you give it literally every square millimeter of what it was lacking. You are now fully fucked by a company whose pride and joy, Instagram, can already use your child’s face to create a web of data, including leading directly to where the child lives.
Add a seasons pass and in-app skin purchases and now we’re talkin.

@InTheMoneyAdam You mustn’t forget, nothing on X (when tf is that ever going to sound natural) is to be taken lightheartedly. It is always of grave seriousness.
When all you want to do is be a normal fucking member of society but your brain decides to make RANDOM ass turns every time you think you’ve crossed the finish line.

I mustn’t forget that. Fight for the patriotism of the soul.
My friend once expressed to me how scared he was of death. I think people have it backwards, from what I’ve seen and been through.
I’m not scared of death. I’m scared of pain.
@DefiyantlyFree …using ai to generate an image isn’t statistically or visually representative of anything “realistic,” whether or not your fundemental argument is largely accurate
