@Alacritx Chocolates?! He was sold, Cherry had all his undivided attention, as soon as he had that box in his own hands of course.
"Someone seems to be in a good mood, is there a special occasion?"
"My hair-! Okay that's it."
He's going to pick Cherry up over his shoulder, and begin walking. They're going to bathe together and he won't take 'no' for an answer.
"A secret book club? Sounds a little fun honestly. It'd be the first book club I could honestly join."
"If you keep bloodying me up, I'm going to drag your ass in the bath with me. Don't test me."
Eyes would narrow. So much for finally being clean.
"It's not as bad as yours for sure, but it's annoying to have."
He'd shrug.
"Sure, I don't think he'd mind teaching--
"You know I just took a bath right?"
He'd frown, and cross his arms over his chest, letting out a sigh. He had a valid point but...
"I /can't/ get over this Cherry. You were me, you should know I've always had trouble reading. You're lucky you don't have it. Though--
"I'm not worried about being made fun of. I just can't read. Dyslexic? Was that what it was called...? Look, I've tried, a couple days ago I got a book and tried to sit and read, nothing added up. It seems to be getting worse over time. I just can't read."
"I can't put my mind to it, it's too hard. The words just don't come out right."
He shook his head.
"I'll pass, k'? I never needed to read before, and I don't think I need to start relying on it now."
