Welcome to Calgary Carson Carels.
Development camp underway at WinSport and the GM is here watching his youngsters, with a healthy crowd on hand.
No, Conroy is not working the phone, as he’s made it clear the only adds they’ll make are AHL depth moves.
@grantmccagg Dreger just spots out nonsense are gm is on the record saying it’s a rebuild multiple times and that there targeting 28-29 as a competitive year. And want to have a exciting young team goin into the new building in 27-28
While other GMs work the phones on July 1, picking away at the few impact players left on the open market, the Flames' brass won't be dipping into free agency.
@EricFrancis has that and more in his Flames notebook. https://t.co/ci2Uv7u6xc
@tbird99997890@WatchMyReview They do have a pretty large farm they probably are busy right now I’m sure he could have but wanted to stay and help his parents
@daveharms05@tbird99997890@WatchMyReview Probably will work the summers at the farm yea seems like he legitimately enjoys farming as most farm kids do. Not everything is about money seems like he’s really close with his family
@misabrini771@WatchMyReview What are you talking about. You wouldn’t help your parents out if they needed it?because you make more money ?
Some people enjoy farmi by regardless of they could make more money elsewhere.
Speaks to how your a lowlife chud who probably has the emotional maturity of a 10 year old
@WatchMyReview Yea sometimes there’s simply not time.
During calving season it was pretty commons for me and my old man and work 16-20 hrs a day if there was complications. Little surprised there still calving though this late into June and should be done seeding
My Final 2026 Draft Grades are here!
I couldn't decide on an all-inclusive metric that combines value added and efficiency, so here are both rankings instead. Read the small print to understand what the two mean.
The San Jose Sharks added the most talent to their prospect pool this year, and it wasn't even close.
Calgary and Toronto also did great. The Flames consistently picked up players I liked, and for the Leafs, it's hard not to finish high here when you select Gavin McKenna.
On the lower end, Tampa Bay, Montreal, and Ottawa added the least to their prospect pools. Montreal and Ottawa also finished near the bottom of the efficiency rankings, which means their poor classes were mostly self-inflicted, not a product of a small number of picks.
Columbus, Nashville, St. Louis, Seattle, and Los Angeles were some of my most efficient teams. They picked a lot of my favorites later in the draft, such as Jardine & Di Iorio for CBJ and Cullen, Bleyl, Graf for NSH.
This draft was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see how these prospects continue to develop in the coming years.
@Pete___Hughes Don’t mind the draft at all tbh 24 still my favourite of the conroy era but this one feels better then 23 for sure in terms of value at pick position
