@footypyramiduk I reckon we should go for Darren Ferguson, proven in the division, knows how to get promoted from League 1 (three previous promotions), good at working with young players which he did a lot at Peterborough, plus he’ll be cheap. I’d try to get Fuchs in as Assistant Manager also.

@lee1978lcfc 2025/26 is the season the current season, how can we possibly get promoted to League One in 2025/26 when we have just been relegated from the Chanpionship? Also the current season is not 2024/25, it’s 2025/26 and we are in the Championship not League One.

@JasonBourne1986 I should have been clearer. I totally agree that the lack of accountability at the top drips down to every level of the football club. Top and Rudkin have driven this football club into the ground, they have destroyed Vichai’s legacy and to me both their positions are untenable.

@JasonBourne1986 To blame it all on the board is lazy. Most of these players were in the squad when we got promoted, they certainly should not be getting relegated. The coaching staff and playing staff have massively, inexplicably underperformed, there’s no question about that.

@JasonBourne1986 I know and agree with all of that. Obviously the board has made catastrophic errors and they must be held accountable. Notwithstanding that, these players are individually far better than second last. They should be nowhere near the relegation zone.
