My opinion on the new GoW: Laufey game: It looks great, BUT i think the problem is people want Kratos in a God of War game. It has nothing to do with a female lead. Plenty of games have awesome female leads -- Horizon Zero Dawn, Tomb Raider, Nier, Stellar Blade, The Last of Us Pt II, Control, Hellblade, Half-Life:Alyx. Gears 5, the list goes on. The problem is the title 'God of War' is literally based on Kratos.. not any other side characters. I also think the title would've been better if they just used 'Faye' instead of her full name. Maybe a better preface title would've worked better? 'God of War Tales: Faye' , something that indicates a derivative work a bit more.
