Peter Marigold's Semi Synthetic series examines objects that are part natural/part synthetic, part mass produced / part hand crafted. These dishes, made from starch based low temperature bioplastic pushed into roughly chain-sawn timber moulds.

These corrugated ceramic tableware, formed from single-use cardboard moulds are the craftsmanship of Ray Gonzalez Brown.
Stoneware clay is forced into moulds and then burnt away leaving the vessels bearing the crumpled gesture of the cardboard.
