RRW Fact of the Day: Alcohol Stats
In 2018, only 2.9 percent of Missouri 12-14 year olds used alcohol in the last month; 17.2 percent of teens 15-17 have. The number skyrockets for 18-20 year olds to 42.9 percent. Parents are the number one factor preventing teen alcohol use.

In 2018, only 33 percent of Missouri students think e-cigs are harmful. Only 44 percent think marijuana is harmful. Only 50 percent believe alcohol is harmful, while 66 percent think traditional cigarettes are harmful.
