After 22 years in the league, LeBron is experiencing his most efficient midrange season to date, placing him among the NBA’s leading midrange shooters.
At the same time, he has emerged as an elite 3-point shooter.
Impact metrics show 2009 LeBron is the highest peak, playoffs:
▫️ 8.7 AuPM/G (#1 all-time)
▫️ 12 BP BPM (#2 best all-time)
▫️ 10 BP OBPM (#1 all-time)
▫️ 16.1 RAPTOR (#1 all-time)
▫️ .399 WS/48 #1 all time
▫️ 17.5 BPM #1 all time
▫️ .21 VORP/G #1 all time
▫️ 37.4 PER #1 all time
@ZaryakaK I still think lebron peaked in 2013 as an overall player, though the metrics may not support it, and he might have not played like he did in '09 he was a better finisher, jumpshooter and still had that defensive motor
His impact metrics would skyrocket with wade off.
Over the last 16 seasons LeBron has shot an eFG of 46.5% on jumpshots from 10-28 feet
36.3% on normal 3pt distance (22-28ft), but he wouldn't survive according to "House of bricks"
Imagine if LeBron played in MJ’s era.
No floor spacing.
No defensive 3 second rule.
Every team had a 7-foot rim protector that never had to leave the paint on D.
He’d be lucky to average 15 PPG 🤣
@HiNoteee@Dloading No doubt. But one of the more frustrating things is that he's struggled in the playoffs so many times. I've wanted him to cook and only a select few games he does and then he forgets.
Like how does it not come to his mind that people know what he is and be fine with it
The reason why LeBron James is still a top 5 player even at 39 is because at his level in the regular season, his production still matches of a top 7 player.
While also playing like an undisputed top 5 playoff performer, and lead team USA to gold in dominant fashion
