What Matters To You is a global movement to open a dialogue between people using services, carers & those providing care.
“What matters to you?” is a simple question that can have a big impact on care.

@JaneWalsh_9@stu_kaill@Peter_Ledwith Really good to see how systems approaches are being used across healthcare - I really like FRAM as a way of understanding your system and the controls (or lack thereof!). Though it's not the most intuitive to follow it has real benefits for change!
NICE has today published its new shared decision making guideline, which aims to help people using healthcare services feel more confident in discussing care and treatment options with their healthcare teams. Read more: https://t.co/rIc8jo6eDn
We support the @NICEComms Shared Decision Making (SDM) Guideline which launched today.
A personalised approach to #SDM is important in improving patient care experiences and outcomes.

As a #GP at sharp edge of implementing #nhs10yearplan from last year. We REALLY DON’T need structural reform. We need stability/consistency, to build trust, and collaboration. This is about people, and shared vision, not command and control. @rcgp https://t.co/YoZUJHTFci

I'm really pleased to be having lots of conversations with teams wanting to make sure that person centred care is a priority as we work to get #backtobetter

At the moment, sometimes I feel so emotionally exhausted, in limbo, & with no obvious solutions or ways to rest.
Then other times I feel really energised; alongside others, connecting in a caring space, & creating a sense of possibility for who knows what.
Tired, & wide awake.
Exactly this. We used the #wellbeing huddle guide that we shared in our @AQuA_NHS#KXLearningLab this morning; for me it was emotional, cathartic and powerful. I didn't expect fixing but I valued the space to express myself. I am blessed to work with a brilliant, kind, funny team
It helps me to share how I'm feeling, & what's on my mind.
I know there's a risk; you might feel unsure of how to 'help' me. But I have no expectation of you 'fixing' me.
Maybe all the help I need is to be heard, hear myself out loud. To be alongside you.

What went well today?
@Peter_Ledwith shares our recently developed tool to support teams with their wellbeing huddle.
It's not always about asking lots of questions, its about asking the right ones. #psychologicalsafety#KXLearninglabs
Absolutely agree with this - there is no 100% safe option. We need to consider the balance of all risks, which is not an easy or simple thing to do and I think it's a good start to at least discuss that more openly https://t.co/Nm7g36iSVz
