@woacbofficial It used to be very common to celebrate “gotcha day” but then as adoptees got older we realized not everyone liked celebrating or at least the term. I think it depends on the family and the adoptee what is right. Lots of families have since transitioned to “family day” instead.

@TylerBaltierra The stigma against birthparents needs to disappear! You did was you saw best in the circumstances you were given for your daughter. And you continue to show up for her so she can have access to whatever information she wants as she grows older! Proud of you and Cate!
