Despite outside factors, gas prices seem to peak their highest prices around the holidays. Many companies depend on holidays for majority of their business/profits. Consumers are willing to pay more during these times and this becomes an advantage for companies. #MAVORG

Black Friday ads are coming out and companies are becoming more competitive. Ads are released earlier and stores open much earlier than they used to. Very minimal companies remain tradition of waiting until Friday morning to open anymore. #MAVORG

Each year, our company sets aside $10/person to spend on team bonding. Some people never engage with their department teams, so I think this is a great way to do so. This helps create better relationships in the workplace and provides incentive for hard work. #MAVORG

Locally-owned businesses are becoming more appealing for all consumers. Local businesses are usually ran by people in the area and they are more likely to want improvements in the community. It would be hard for the economy to survive without large companies too, though. #mavorg
