Bittersweet feelings as I said my final goodbye to my first ever class and lovely staff at OLOG. I will miss every single one of them, but my new adventure starts now. β°οΈ
The students came in to a very very messy classroom one day this week, and using their persuasive writing skills, they had to convince our principal that they didnβt do it!
A few weeks ago, we were so lucky to have some @OHLRangers players come and visit. The students absolutely loved getting to ask them questions about hockey, and then play some basketball!
Bringing our imagination to life! In grade 1/2 we listened to Beethoven and closed our eyes and imagined being in a place all alone. Then, we brought this place to life using pastels.
We definitely got the VIP treatment today at Landmark Cinemas as the entire school got to go see Wish as a reward for showing kindness! What a perfect way to end a busy weekπΏπ₯

βI got a call from Mike McKenzie telling me that I'm a Ranger. I just remember feeling like, this is pretty awesome. Coming to the games growing up and now being able to go on the ice and be one of the players is unbelievable.β

Measuring area using non-standard units! The students had to make an estimate of how many snap cubes it would take to cover their desk and then they had to test it out. @LEADUWindsor
Today at St. James we had our annual Carnaval! Bonhomme even made a special appearance. In the morning we rotated between different stations, and in the afternoom we had delicious crepes and did a Valentineβs Day craft @LEADUWindsor
I had the opportunity to attend a poverty simulation run by United Way, and it was truly an eye opening experience. It is heartbreaking to think that, for some people, this is their reality. Something more has to be done to support families living in poverty @LEADUWindsor
Bittersweet feelings going into the last day of placement tomorrow. While I am excited to go home to spend time with family and enjoy the break, I donβt want to say goodbye to my students @LEADUWindsor
