@JamesAFurey A priest once told me the average adult has a 5th grade level of understanding and at seminary they’re taught to speak to this level when delivering liturgy. Let that sink in.
@BrianCNewberry I see folks on both sides of the isle who are not properly informed and plenty of them are intelligent enough to figure it out. It’s disheartening as much as scary.
@AshleyKalus@redhedbluestate@MaxDieselRI Next to no innovation here and RI is suspicious when it comes to change or trying something new. Too much siloing in the smallest state is a bad combo.
@educator4ever36 That would not be my color palette choice, but in the late 70’s or early 80’s there was a men’s prison painted pink. The soft color reduced mood intensity and the inmates were calmer. Just a consideration.
@educator4ever36 I think that the lighting in a room can fluctuate based on what students are in a class, what the lesson is at any given time, clear expectations, and the teacher themself. A science class might need bright overhead while a history lesson might be enhanced by lower lighting.
@deriniko9 Back in the 80’s it was theorized that a human came into contact with the blood of an infected monkey getting into an open wound
In the person. Some suggested eating uncooked flesh of an infected animal in unsanitary conditions. People made jokes about bestiality too.
