Our small, yet mighty, Wednesday Farmers’ Market is back tomorrow morning in @BrooksideBBA with a plentiful selection of OK Grown produce, farm eggs, meats, baked goods, herbs, bedding plants & more!
Come join us - 7:30-11am 🌻🥦🥒🍅🥕🥔🥬🍞
A reminder on this beautiful day: River Parks is CLOSED. The River Parks system has transitioned from a recreational area into a buffer that keeps you safe from the rising Arkansas River. The water won’t crest until late today. https://t.co/YJ0Hyw4SEF
Tulsans are advised to avoid Riverside Drive and River Parks, where the river has flowed outside of its banks and created dangerous pools and ponding of water on the park grounds.
Flood sirens have started sounding along the Arkansas River corridor. They will run every half hour for 6 hours. This is just a warning for folks who aren’t aware of the ongoing flooding Arkansas River flood situation (which, if you’re reading this tweet, does not include you!).
If you live an area along a river, creek or stream, we ask that you prepare now in case you are asked to evacuate. Have a GO KIT ready - clothes, medication, important documentation, baby supplies. Charge your digital devices now.
📅 Save the Date, Thursday, June 6th for the 18th Annual Rumble & Roll for @makeawishok! We hope you can join us this year!
