They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear—unending seed offerings, culture-war purity tests, and blind political loyalty oaths, calls to repentance—and lay them on people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to do that work themselves. They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their stage lights blinding and their MAGA-branded merch oversized, and they love the place of honor at Trump rallies and the best seats next to the chosen one, and viral shout-outs on social media and being called “prophet,” “apostle,” or “spiritual advisor to the movement” by others.

Social media is such a two edged sword. Particularly for religious grifters. It helps you build your kingdom and fill your coffers, but you can't keep your misdeeds siloed and you can no longer control the narratives effectively. Notice how the ones caught in darkness use social media constantly, but tell their flock face to face to stay off of it?

Years of concerted effort to cover up abuse (Financial, Spiritual, Sexual), Circling the wagons to defend anyone caught, and now people are actually talking about it who have a platform and they should shut up because these charlatans will all of a sudden start policing themselves? You didn't answer my question, you are literally engaging in an attempt to shame the people trying to bring light and correction to very real darkness and sin in the church. That is running to their defense, whether it be intentional or in ignorance you hopping into the comments telling people to shut up and being aggressive is defense. Your attitude to jumping to "holier than thou influencer" shows you love these guys they are talking about. That opinion doesn't form in a vacuum. Your take was bad, your logic is bad, and you should probably sit this one out.
