I’ve lost several people in my life to drug addiction, particularly meth, and I really want y’all to understand: it is not worth it. Not even once.
Meth is highly addictive, and repeated use can change the brain and create powerful cravings that make quitting extremely difficult. What may start as something recreational can quickly turn into something that consumes your health, relationships, stability, and sense of self.
I’ve watched people I care about die or become almost unrecognizable! Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. The person you knew can become buried underneath the addiction, and the longer it continues, the harder the road back can become.
Please don’t think you’re too strong, too smart, or too disciplined to become addicted. Addiction does not care who you are.
Some experiences simply aren’t worth trying. Meth is one of them.
