Should be match play. Wednesday-Sunday with over a 100 holes of golf required to win…tough and brutal. That gives it an identity it sorely lacks.

But no need to pick super tough courses. It has its match play identity. Easy stadium style courses are fine.

@MGallagher1977 Completely agree. This gives the tournament an identity, like the other majors. The gauntlet of a Wednesday-Sunday with over a 100 holes to win a major would be brutal.
