Yesterday was School Librarian Appreciation Day! I was completely spoiled and showered with gifts and the sweetest notes from our Brown Bears! I feel loved! ❤️ @BrownElementary

Pre-K, Kinder, and 1st grade classes enjoyed listening to The Very Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach. Then, we coded Bee Bot to retell the story. They had so much fun! Literacy and STEM for the win!!! @BrownElementary @IrvingLibraries

We had a great day showing strategies to parents on how to read with their child at home. Parents learned about Sora and signed up for parent library accounts. Great turnout for both sessions! We are growing readers together! @MrsMancillas @BrownElementary @IrvingLibraries

Our Brown Bears loved reading one of the new Texas Bluebonnet Books "The Legend of Gravity". After reading, Brown Bears loved working together on the Free Throw challenge using Spike Essential! @BrownElementary @IrvingLibraries

Our Brown Bears loved reading "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!" After reading, Brown Bears showed their creativity by creating a sleigh out of Legos. @BrownElementary @IrvingLibraries

Our Spelling Bee @BrownElementary was amazing! All of our participants did an amazing job! Super proud of our champion, Karina, and our alternate, Sophia.
