Today marks the 20th anniversary of the #AnimalCrossing series! What are your favorite memories? Thank you to everyone who has played throughout the years, and we look forward to sharing more memories together in the future!

@mehdigeek_ @ChuyPlaysNTDO Probably New Leaf, maybe City folk!

Hi, everyone! Can you believe it's been a full year since Nook Inc. started offering its Deserted Island Getaway Package? Me neither! To commemorate the occasion, Mr. Nook has prepared a small gift for everyone on the islands. Be sure to check your mailbox!

@DramakinsTv Yeah I don’t understand why they felt the need to streamline these NPCs😔 I would love to know their reasoning for (for now hopefully) removing Katrina from the game. It feels pointless?🥴 I feel with you! This sucks😭

[mogu @mogumu_]

the new animal crossing update is nice but i was hoping they would make some more multiplayer / game features by now 😭🙏 more reasons to play with friends aside from trading / gaining items

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@Matdredalia @animalcrossing You’re right! I’m a long time AC player so I can concur!😂 thanks for the encouragement, truly!🥰💫

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@lizzytrenske @animalcrossing Oh I hope so!🥺 thanks for the hope!✨ yes definitely!😍

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@MayorMori I hope this isn’t her only cameo!😭

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@the_komomn @animalcrossing Haha I’ve actually been really positive about ACNH! I’m just sad about Katrina and all the other NPCs that are missing! This makes me feel like they’ll do the same with the others that’s all!

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@xPixieQueen @animalcrossing I agree! It gave us other things to do!

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@animalcrossing For the first time I am legitimately upset. There was literally no good reason to remove a bunch of amazing NPCs. Also no good reason to streamline them. Things like getting a cup of coffee and getting your fortune told were the backbone of this series. I just don’t understand.

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@animalcrossing Uhh. Why are you putting Katrina as a point redeem in the app? I hope she makes it in the game. Please🥴

[Beanie✨ @Brrknee]

@crossingchannel just a thought I had!☺️This April Animal Crossing for the GameCube will turn 20 yrs old! I haven’t seen any content creators mention this. Maybe that could also indicate big things for NH??? Or maybe a switch port of ACGC?🤞🏻✨
