@AlbertL78836300@EricLDaugh Please point to the area that went democrat and got better. Please remember that just because you don't arrest people for crimes or hold them accountable doesn't bring down crime.
@TylerLeedy4@EricLDaugh Remember, when people would discuss disagreements using things like relevant facts and logical arguments instead of just name calling. Let's go back to that.
@C_S_Skeptic Love the name calling. Yes 8 years late and 24 billion dollars later but my comment was about the Starliner program for billion down the drain and no successful flights yet.
So, asking for a friend, when SpaceX achieves reusibility with starship (boster already reused twice) at a fraction of the time and money of the SLS program, will that be anything? 60%+ of all active satellites went up on a SpaceX rocket at a fraction of the cost of the competition. NASA is awesome, not knocking them, but SpaceX has made things like starlink possible by bringing the cost per pound to LEO 90%.
So if someone builds a company that value exceeds that amount you just take the company. What do u think that will make companies do that get close? What do you think creators will do if that's there reality? I would move my company that is what would happen. Money and the jobs that go with them go where it is appreciated
Dummy satellites have been taken twice but starship has never been in orbit. They just put it in a parabolic trajectory that comes down in the Indian ocean without anything else having to happen. if they put it in an orbital trajectory and lose control, they will not know where the big ship will come down. So they have not done that yet. We will see that this year. Even though the above is true, this guys arguments are still silly.
@RealDanODowd@Tesla@elonmusk Let's be clear, autonomous vehicles will not end all accidents, but there will be less accidents with less injuries, less property damage and less loss of life. That is the measuring stick, not no accidents.
@middle_class_us There was never a time and it was never intended to do that. Now when we decided to move all our middle income jobs to other countries for cheaper goods we created a huge disparity in people with valuable skills and those with none that you could not learn in a week.
Elon Musk's companies, primarily Tesla, SpaceX, X (Twitter), Neuralink, and The Boring Company, provide tens of thousands of jobs, with Tesla being the largest employer (around 120k+), SpaceX with 13,000+, and combined direct/indirect jobs across his ventures potentially exceeding 600,000 (mostly Tesla-linked) as of recent reports. Would it be better if those jobs did not exist?
Elon Musk does not take a traditional salary from Tesla or SpaceX; his compensation comes from performance-based stock options and awards tied to ambitious company milestones, most recently a huge potential payout from Tesla contingent on hitting major market cap and operational targets, which shareholders approved in late 2025. Shareholders chose to pay hime those options because he only gets them if he builds huge value in the company also making them several times their money. Win win. He also has to sell some of that stock to put any money in his pocket.
@marlene4719 Can you please point out one subsidy that spacex or tesla received that they did not provide a good or service for? The car sub a cities went to the consumer. And any consumer that bought any electric vehicle from any brand received them.
@RealDanODowd Man dan either you don't read the c***.You're putting up or you're just outright lying as usual. Those are not incidents in austin or by tesla owned cars. They are nationwide and not verified to be driving autonomous.
@LoughlinCody@rdd147 I think if you had it drive you around every day, you would see things a little more logically. No high definition maps or Lider can just drop it on any street and say go. There are other competitors, but none do that.
