Workers should not pay the price for measures taken in response to the Coronavirus. This is not the way to deal with this crisis.

Emergency Coronavirus legislation is coming this week.

It must prepare for a social crisis as well as a public health crisis incl:

◾Proper sick pay for all
◾Mortgage & rent holidays - with no evictions
◾Suspend utility bills for all infected
◾Food support for the vulnerable

Many infected by #coronavirus will only get statutory sick pay. That's not enough to get by on.

People will need much more support. As part of a "people's aid" package, the Gov't should announce a moritorium on utility bills so those infected can fully access these essentials.
