Today, the park presents a new temporary exhibit that showcases objects from the last seven decades of celebration, including a poster signed by activist Rosa Parks during the 35th anniversary celebration. Come check out what we've got and ask yourself: Where Next?

On May 23, in celebration of the 72nd Anniversary of the Brown v. Board decisions, community members will be hosting these public events:
10 am: Mrs. Rowena Sanders Memorial Walk
11 am: Memories Revisited with Mrs. Rowena Sanders
12 pm: I, Too, Have a Voice
In remembrance of the hundreds of plaintiffs that helped end school segregation and in celebration of the 72nd Anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's decisions on Brown v. Board of Education, please join us as we SAY THEIR NAMES.

On February 3, 2026, the Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park will host "Women of Brown," an exhibit celebrating the 12 Black women in the landmark Brown v. Board court case. Curated by historian Donna Rae Pearson, this exhibit will be available until March 2026.
Living the Dream, Inc. invites the community to attend the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Art Competition. Join us on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. for the awards ceremony at the Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park, 1515 SE Monroe Street.
Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park will be closed December 24-26 in observance of the Christmas holidays.
We will resume regular operations on Saturday, December 27.
