@AnthonyCumia you should ask Gavin what he’s using for his audio. There was a glaring difference in quality when you guys are side by side. You sound very compressed and tinny. Love ya
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG Our hospitals would be less stressed if we didn’t fire people who didn’t want to have the vaccine and wanted their natural immunity to protect them.
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG It would be more helpful to introduce therapeutics along with vaccines. It’s not a one stop approach. The vaccines clearly don’t work if you’re still being hospitalized. However, adding therapeutics would keep people out of the hospital
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG My nephew just got it. Fine in a day. 3 kids in the neighborhood got it. Under the weather for a day maybe 2. This is the variant we’ve needed. Antibody protection and a mild case
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG The survival rate amongst children is 99.9998%. They’re gonna be just fine. They have a better chance of chasing a ball into the street and getting hit by a car. That’s what worries me.
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG We lost family. All were 80+, had heart issues, kidney issues, dimentia, etc. it’s terrible. But they would have died from pneumonia or flu with all of that. It happens. But these “high numbers” with a less potent version is how you move on safely
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG And I know people are dying. People die every day for many reasons. People die from flu. People die in car crashes. But we must take a calculated risk that the vast majority of infected people from 0-70 will be just fine.
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG We’ve done this “small ask.” It doesn’t work. The vaccine doesn’t kill the virus. It was a great try, but the virus will continue to live on. We have therapeutics, and the death rate remains low even with a spike in cases. It’s time to get back to normal
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG I have two young children. I'm willing to send them out in the world, as they have been for 2 years. I'm willing to feed healthy food, vitamins, fresh air. Willing to let their bodies be exposed to germs and learn how to fight infection. Everything I'm willing to do to myself.
@CherylR71716338 @GovKathyHochul@DocEMurray@NewYorkStateAG We are in endemic phase now. We have seen these variants doing what every virus has ever done - grown more viral, less lethal. There is no reason for mass hysteria at this point, and even less reason to force masks. They should be optional.
