OTD 5 years ago I was diagnosed w/ head & neck cancer. Two days later, still in shock, I wrote Persist & Persevere in my journal. Those words still ring true today. Very grateful for more time.🙏
Pittsburgh is going for it and Little Joe's leadership makes them an instant contender. Frankie is now the future of the Boston program. They're a few years away but once they get there - look out.

Dear Canada, I felt compelled to make something. To stick up for, and to honour. To show our strength, beauty, genius, empathy, light & heart. It's made with deep gratitude for the people and places of this beautiful land. Vive le Canada 🇨🇦❤️✌️💪 https://t.co/UNXJ0UusP1
Jack Eichel about to hit the ice as Vegas hosts Chicago. Might be point night for one of the best forwards in the league. A couple stats and a look at the unique way he carries the puck which makes it almost impossible to take it from him...

Maybe my favorite Wayne Gretzky stat, which is mindblowing 🤯 trivia:
Gretzky is the first AND second fastest player to score 1,000 points.
0-1,000 points: 424 games
1,001-2,000 points: 433 games
Next fastest: Super Mario at 513 games.
Yes, 2,000 career points in 857 games.
Cellphone pic of Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, captured by me just now at Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park.
6 second exposure, handheld, 20:38 MDT.
Comet was 5.4° above western horizon; the 2 bright stars top of frame ~15° altitude. Visible tail of comet about 7-8° long.
My Father’s Day included a trip to Costco, arranging my books into new bookcases, driving one child to something they loved, watching my eldest boy take my my beloved old bike for a ride, appreciating all my kids, and reorganizing the garage. Happy Father’s Day to all you dads.
My fellow Edmontonians.
Enjoy the night, support your team, and when it's over - win or lose - please respect your city.
We've won lots of Cups here, and lost a few as well.
Act like you've been here before.
