@StDavidsSch Our class wrote their own charter of rights. This was a great team building exercise and something we all signed. It hangs proudly in our room.
@StDavidsSch Great work by my students today as they were able to make all the numbers from 1 to 20 using only four fours. Lots of great discussions and effort.
@RankinCancerRun We have started our Rankin Run hike from Queenston Heights to Fort George. Our team, The Wetaskiwin Warriors, has raised $650 for the run! Very proud of our team!
Great math congress today on mean, median, mode and range. Who should go to the tournament based upon the data? How did you make your decision? Great discussions students!
@StDavidsSch We had a math congress today where the Grade 7 students sorted values on a clothes line. This generated great conversations and now we have an awesome anchor chart! The Grade 8s sorted tarsia cards without a calculator to form a hexagon.
@StDavidsSch Good luck to our nine intermediate students who are competing nationally in the Young Citizens of Canada Competition. Have a look at their videos and vote to help them in their quest to become one of four national champions. https://t.co/3Y9hrHTxJN
@WSendzik @RankinCancerRun Yesterday, the 57th Scouts organized an 11km hike along the Laura Secord Trail in support of the Rankin Run. We raised $1000, cleaned the trail, and learned about a great Canadian. Thank you to everyone who supported us!
@CityofThorold18 57th St. Catharines Scouts did a shoreline clean up at Decou House Park tonight. They found a massive tarp, seven bags of garbage, and a parking cone. Well done Scouts!
@StDavidsSch It is a special day when the Prime Minister’s Office acknowledges the receipt and review of your letters concerning Residential Schools in Canada. Well done students!
@StDavidsSch The students and I had a great time sorting percentages, decimals, fractions, ratios, and models today. We had constructive discussions on equivalent values and how to convert between each type of value. Well done students!

@htubman2015 We made to the BME Church today! In one month we travelled almost 1000km as a team. I am so proud of the hardwork by the students. It was great to walk virtually with Harriet. In June, we will be exploring the Wonders of Ancient Egypt on our new journey.
@htubman2015 Congratulations to Maisey who earned an Ontario Heritage Fair Award for her project and who will now be competing nationally against other students from across Canada. We are all so very proud of you Maisey!
