239 pupils on roll from Nursery to Year 6.
EACH Bryn Bach learner, BIG & small, comes to school to be INCREDIBLE!
A big thank you to John at Roseheyworth Recycling Centre for a very informative morning yesterday. Year 1 loved learning all about recycling and how we can help keep our local area clean and tidy ♻️@BlaenauGwentCBC
Our Play Makers have been taking on lots of their leadership challenges. Some came to lead a PE session with Year 1 following on from their training with Aneurin Leisure. They played a range of games with them and Year 1 absolutely loved it! ☺️👏🏻🎾 @Aneurinleisure@ALSportDev
Our Bryn Bach Play Makers have been super busy! They went around our classes to share important information on their roles and used Google Forms to gather feedback and pupil voice on our after school sport offer for Summer term. Da iawn 👏🏻 @Aneurinleisure@ALSportDev
Mighty Oaks had a wonderful time meeting interesting members of our fellow animal kingdom in @Plantasia6.
The children used their extensive knowledge of living things to ask insightful and probing questions. We all learned so much!

After our school was covered this week, we have been immersed in all things snow! Dosbarth Lili have been sorting and counting in Maths, mixing colours and painting snow outdoors, as well as making sugar cube and junk model igloos 🌨️❄️⛄️👏🏻
We loved seeing the excitement and wonder on their faces as they explored and learned about nature! 🌿 Thank you for sharing your workshop experience @BrynBachSchool - it was a joy to welcome you all. Here's to inspiring the conservationists of tomorrow! 🌎💚
So much fun on our Mighty Oaks trip to @Plantasia6
Meeting some special friends who are native to the rainforest really captivated our learners and engaged them in their Circle of Life topic.

Y3-Y6 took a stand against bullying by participating in a RESPECT workshop! 💪 We learned how to support each other, be kind and develop strategies to use when managing disrespectful behaviour. Let's keep spreading kindness! #AntiBullyingWeek2024@bigfootarts
Remembrance inspired creative activities in our Amazing Acorns. The children loved choosing how they would like to make their poppy inspired artwork. Da iawn, pawb!

Keeping busy in Dosbarth Lili. We have been exploring all of our areas and working collaboratively and independently. A fantastic half term so far 👏🏻👷🎨☕️#AmbitiousCapableLearners
Mighty Oaks worked with Reverend Matt to decorate a silhouette with beautiful poppies for Remembrance Day. The silhouette will be displayed on the gates of St George’s Church from the 8th November.

Dosbarth Lili Y1 used mirrors and reflections to draw the leaves we found in our school forest. We were able to talk about how they were evergreen or deciduous based on what they looked like 🍃🌿🎨 @EAS_ExpressArts#CreativeContributors
Our Mighty Oaks had an excellent session in the environment show, exploring the world’s habitats, food webs, and the role humans play in our ecosystems. 🌍 A brilliant learning experience to inspire future eco champions! #Sustainability#FutureLeaders
Thank you @bgstemproject 😊
With the help of our older Young Carers in the school and Mrs Regan/Delia Smith, Amazing Acorns (N&R) made apple crumble, upside down apple cake and chocolate apples! 🍏 Cooking & tasting 🧑🍳🧑🍳
