I retired from Suffolk County Council at Christmas & yesterday I picked up my goodbye gifts. Top present has to be the VIP ticket for the @gullwingbridge opening & a framed picture of the bridge. Also got a contribution towards a compact picture & video camera. Watch out YouTube!

(1/2)We have been advised by Essex & Suffolk Water that their work at the junction of Rotterdam Rd & Denmark Rd to divert pipes has encountered unexpected delays and will take a bit longer than envisaged. The road closures will remain in place to 21st December.
A 'pop up' vaccination clinic will be open at Lowestoft Town Football Club in Love Road, Lowestoft tomorrow (Wednesday 15 December) between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
The vaccination team will be offering 1st, 2nd and booster vaccinations (for those over 30).
Earlier this week we successfully poured the second half of the Pier 3 pile cap. During the next few days the formwork shuttering will gradually be removed to reveal the concrete slab.
Our consultation is now open on a new regional transport strategy for the East.
We have developed the draft strategy together with councils, business leaders and other partners to help guide investment in transport up to 2050.
