🚨 PLAY OF THE YEAR 🚨

Alabama +2.5 (-120) 🔨🔨

Here’s why:

In game 1, Bama outgained Oklahoma 406 to 212 in total yards… they were moving the ball on this Oklahoma defense. They lost the turnover battle 3-0… those 3 turnovers were:

- Pick 6 when Bama was in the redzone.
- Muffed punt on their own 30, Oklahoma TD two plays later.
- Strip sack fumble on their own 30, resulted in Oklahoma field goal.

Now, I know this Oklahoma defense is amazing & they create turnovers and wreak havoc, and I love it, but Alabama essentially GAVE them 17 points… and that pick six could easily be accounted for more than just 7 (Bama was in redzone, goes from Bama points to OU touchdown).

Alabama needs to protect Ty Simpson and Ty needs to get the ball out QUICK. Alabama has guys that can separate. Oklahoma plays a TON of man coverage, Germie Bernard, Ryan Williams, Isaiah Horton, all can win against man. They need to do that tonight to find success offensively.

The other side of the ball, I’m not going to get into much… Oklahoma Offense v Bama Defense, don’t expect anything crazy either way here… could see OU be a bit better, in terms of moving the ball. I mean they scored 23 in the first matchup and were pretty much given 17 (pick 6, two turnovers inside the 30).

The most interesting thing is this line… now I could be totally wrong, but Vegas definitely believes in Alabama. This line opened at Alabama -1.5. Meaning if this game was at Bama again, it would be Bama -7.5? Just INSANE they would move Alabama UP a point (favored by 6.5 in first matchup) after losing outright to OU, getting throttled by Georgia last week, and looking so shaky to end the year. Last thing, if you look at future odds, Alabama is pretty much half the odds of Oklahoma??? Makes no sense, Alabama is in that +2500 range & Oklahoma is in the +5000 range… but OU is favored tonight? Don’t fall for it.

Everyone has been waiting for this Alabama bounce back after losing to Oklahoma last month and haven’t got it. They looked shaky at Auburn & got destroyed by Georgia. Everyone chalking it up as “they suck” under Deboer.

This is the spot after having 2 weeks off to get healthy & prepare after an embarrassment on national TV.

Think they send Oklahoma packing tonight.
