The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us a practice over 1,400 years ago that modern research continues to highlight for its potential health benefits.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“When you go to bed, perform wudu as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side.”(Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

This beautiful Sunnah combines both spiritual and physical wisdom:

💧 Going to sleep in a state of wudu brings purity and remembrance of Allah.🤲 The angels make du'a for the believer who sleeps in a state of purification.🛌 Sleeping on the right side is a practice encouraged by the Prophet ﷺ and is often discussed today for its possible health and comfort benefits.

For Muslims, however, we follow this guidance first and foremost because it comes from Allah's Messenger ﷺ, whose teachings are full of wisdom, mercy, and benefit for humanity.

Indeed, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was unlettered, yet he brought guidance that continues to inspire and benefit people across generations.

May Allah make us among those who revive and follow the Sunnah in our daily lives. Ameen. 🤲

Sa’ad Muhammad Sani, a talented Qur’an reciter from Kano State, Nigeria, has emerged as the winner of a prestigious international Qur’anic recitation competition held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the Imam Nafi’u Al-Madany Foundation

His remarkable achievement attracted widespread attention online after he outperformed participants from various countries, including native Arab reciters, to secure first place in the competition
