Happy World Book Day! A wonderful day to pick up a book and start reading, or even have a go at writing your own book. Schools may also want to revisit our Festival events with some amazing authors, illustrators, storytellers and more which are available to watch on replay.

Having been knitting since October, a group of Prep School pupils have created 6 amazing large blankets from the combination of knitted squares, which will be distributed to those in need through @knitforpeace. For many, this was the first time they have ever tried knitting!

'This history is all our histories': @BeaumontSchStA students were rapt by @DavidOlusoga's presentation at the @BSCFestLit this week as he talked about Black British history being 'dragged out of the shadows'. An enlightening and thought-provoking session.
