And that’s a wrap for Board Game Olympics. Final score according to scoresheet - 13-year-old daughter claimed overall gold thanks to 2 1st-place-finishes today. I tied my 15-year-old son for 2nd, but he won tiebreaker based on more individual golds. I feel good about bronze.

Maybe greatest finish in history of Sorry to wrap up Chipman Board Game Olympics. With 3 stuck in home, I rallied with a few 2’s to get out, then backwards 4, then straight into HOME, to edge my 7-year-old daughter for bronze. 13-year-old daughter claimed 2nd straight gold.

After 1-week break to soothe hurt feelings over controversial Uno finish, Chipman Board Game Olympics continued today with 2 games left. First up was Rummikub, with 13-year-old daughter nabbing gold to pull within points of 1st overall.

I'm going to miss spectacle of @NCAA Final Four & spending time with friends & colleagues, but understand there are more important things on which to focus. Still, I'm already looking forward to San Antonio and the 2021 women's Final Four in 12 months!

@NCAA men's Final Fours from 2002-16 & last 3 on women's side from 2017-19. I should be in New Orleans right now, but instead I'm spending my 21st consecutive day in my house.

So for 1st time since 2001 I'm not spending early-April in exotic location getting ready for college basketball national semifinals, snapping a streak of 18 consecutive @NCAA Final Fours.

After taking nearly 6 hours to complete 4 of 6 events in board games Olympics, the committee voted to suspend competition to later in the week. I feel pretty good about winning a gold & silver medal so far.

Marathon game of Uno goes over 2 hours to determine 3 medalists as board game Olympics rolls on. I may have played a wild card at 1:45 mark & chose blue so my 7-year-old could win his 1st gold (and hasten end of game), but I bounced back to claim silver at 1:52 mark.
