@SamRainer I will admit freely that it is because of the Southern Baptists I know. And I know a good many. Most in KY where I pastor. My doubt stems from those connections. I don’t doubt these are the results you got. I doubt your sample subjects were accurate representation of SBC people.

@JimmyParker87 Also, Mohler is sinking his own amendment with his comments. Talking about women on podcasts…. Nope, not something I care about. And as a pastor, I hope everyone in the church discusses the sermon and compares it to scripture regularly. Not my worry if it’s public or not.

@JimmyParker87 I’m so relieved to hear you say this. All I see is people cheering it on. We literally have no lead pastors in the SBC who are women. We already voted to exclude them. Worrying about some children’s worker in someone else���s church is unnecessary.

We are spending time & torture scripture & manipulate people talking about what women can’t do, rather than focusing on what men need to be doing.
