Carl Bowser dominates night one of Applefest for his second Tri-City Raceway win of 2020

Carl Bowser leads all the way at Tri-City for his 1st 410 Sprint Car win of 2020. George Hobaugh gets his 2nd runner-up in as many nights after a P2 at Sharon. Jack Sodeman Jr 6th to 3rd. AJ Flick 10th to 4th. Good run for RJ Jacobs in 5th.

No chance I’m staying up until the feature when you are just starting heat race 3 at 9:30. Hot Take: if you want to grow the sport, get people in and out. All races done by 10:30 barring any major delays out of track’s control. Main class feature should be rolling by 9:30.

@carlbowser I specifically remember struggling to get the rig up a big hill and then having mechanical issues before a rainout. Black has done much better for the big car. Maybe a throwback blue scheme some year?
