BSL had the pleasure of welcoming ten students from the Hälsa International street school initiative last week. They joined our Year 9 and Year 10 students for a half day of enrichment activities, including storytelling, collaborative artwork, music and a Physical Education.
We were honoured with a visit from UK chess Grandmaster Mr Nigel Short MBE, who dropped in to meet our own chess expert Mr Francis Anquandah! We were delighted to welcome Mr Short to hear about his work as Director for Chess Development at the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
