@Headteacherchat I remember getting my envelope and simply chucking it in the bin unopened as an NQT. To think my teaching can be judged by someone with a clipboard in my room for 35 mins, who knew nothing about context, was laughable and I’m not playing that game. I am my most rigorous critic
@TTRadioOfficial I’d be happy to support KS3 colleagues by sharing classes or splitting classes. The unions are adamant that teachers mustn’t do this. Bonkers.
@jon_hutchinson_ Of course it is. Do you want their assessment t scores from the 24 assessments sat this year or an overview of strengths and weaknesses.
@Yorkshire_Steve@Ajaymack@adamboxer1 Why doesn’t Ofsted write their criteria with the lowest PA in mind! We have 4/5s of our intake below 90 onEng Sat scores. What would outstanding academic progress look like? We have a grammar school down the road and are compared directly with them.guess who gets better results!
@CharlesHThyme It’s not unfair. It’s what families do.
What is unfair is judging schools by these outcomes and comparing chalk and cheese. Lower attaining schools often have the most superb teachers who eventually leave after multiple kickings from Ofsted.
@JanetEmmett7@CharlesHThyme Not entirely. A child with 100% attendance is in school 14% of a calendar year. There’s an awful lot of time left for other influences.
@diskoBiscuits@surplustakes You’re talking absolute rubbish. Students who got an A last year would have got a D on this paper. Syllabus hasn’t changed.
@LeagueOne25 Got pulled over for speeding on the way to Southampton. Got left off!
Officer asked why I was driving so fast even after I saw the police car. I explained my wife left me for a police officer 2 years ago and I was worried you were bringing her back!
@SlatteryMr I never understand why people post such self absorbed comments. Well done, you’ve climbed your way up the greasy pole. You’re wonderful and I’m really looking forward to an update on your 2nd day….
Work in silence and let your results speak for you.
